NPCI issues Circular Implementation of Policies to Standardize Vehicle Number Updates Vehicle Identification and KYC for NETC FASTag Issuance
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) issued a circular on the Implementation of Policies to Standardize Vehicle Number Updates; Vehicle Identification, and KYC for National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) FASTag Issuance. All issuing banks are requested to comply with the prescribed policy documents effective from 1st March, 2023.
Meity invites comments from stakeholders on amendments proposed to Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
Under the proposed amendment, the due diligence by intermediaries shall include making such efforts to not upload, publish, transmit or share information identified as fake or false by the Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau, which takes cognizance of fake information both suo motu and by way of queries sent by citizens on its portal or through e-mail and WhatsApp and responds with correct information when the same pertains to the Government.

A state-wise list of 606 (Fully-467 & Partially-139) notified districts and 138 non-notified districts under ESI Scheme as of January 01, 2023, has been mentioned.
MCA notifies Several Revised Company Forms
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued a notification listing out the various forms that are notified in January 2023. This notification lists out 10 new company forms that were rolled out on 9th January, 2023. The notification also lists out 46 new company forms that will be rolled out on 23rd January, 2023.
IRRS issues Report of its Extended Follow-up Mission to India in June 2022
Integrated Regulatory Review Service (IRRS) has issued a report on its extended follow-up mission to India. The mission was held from 9th to 20th June, 2022. The IRRS team concluded that AERB showed a strong commitment and professionalism to ensure that nuclear and radiation safety is implemented in the country. With respect to radiation sources facilities and activities, the IRRS team concluded that AERB generally implements the regulatory process and safety requirements in accordance with the IAEA safety standards.

The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has issued a notice on Third-party Security Audit of the Dashboard Portal and CPDS Portal. The notice invites quotes on estimates of expenditure and time to be taken for carrying out the Third Party Security Audit of the Dashboard portal and CPDS portal. The scope of work is also attached to the present notification. The quotes shall reach the Under Secretary to the Government of India at the e-mail singh.manju@gov.in by 23rd January, 2023.
ESIC clarifies on Grant of HPCA/ PCA to Paramedical Staff
The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has issued a clarification on the Grant of Hospital Patient Care Allowance (HPCA) / Patient Care Allowance (PCA) to Paramedical Staff. The notification states that HPCA/ PCA will not be admissible to paramedical employees who are deployed on administrative duties.
Annual Preventive Health Check-up Programme for ESI Insured Persons/Insured Women (IPs/Iw) aged 40 years and above
Under the programme, various data including health record of the IPs/IW may be stored appropriately in the physical/electronic form as per available ICT infrastructure. The data so generated during health check-up is to be analysed for occupational diseases in locations/clusters.
