ESIC issues Notice of Not of Standard Quality for specified batch of Vildagliptin Tablet lP 50mg
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has issued a notice of Not of Standard Quality (NSQ) for the drug Vildagliptin Tablet lP 50mg having batch number VLD09H22. all concerned stakeholders are directed to stop use of the batch of the above item immediately. Further action as per clause for “Testing of Drugs-Quality Control” of Terms & Conditions of DG ESIC RC should be initiated. Replacement of supplies or cost of the material is to be recovered along with the testing charges (if any) from the firm. Additionally, any action taken is to be maintained in respective user unit.

NPPA further extends last date for filing statutory forms under DPCO, 2013
It may be recalled that NPPA had previously already issued an extension for the filing of these statutory forms under DPCO, 2013 on 30th December, 2022. Through the present OM, on the request of some of the pharmaceutical associations, the NPPA has further extended the last date for filing these statutory forms. The Authority emphasises that no further extension in time beyond 31st March, 2023 will be granted.

The Union Minister of Steel and Civil Aviation urged the stakeholders in the steel sector to adapt new ideas, innovations, and new technologies to fast track the steel sector. He also stressed on the need for Reverse logistics in steel sector. Additionally, he also emphasised on the need to identify pathways of generation and recovery of scrap, both in the organised and unorganised sectors and formulate policies and structures to enhance the intensity of circularity in the country.

The new norms clearly draw a boundary between the banking book and the trading book and list out the instruments that can be included in the trading book, which are subject to market risk capital requirements; and those to be included in the banking book which is subject to credit risk capital requirements.

Cabinet approves Strengthening Cooperative Movement
The Ministry of Cooperation has formulated a plan to establish viable Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) in each uncovered Panchayat, viable dairy cooperatives in each uncovered Panchayat/village and viable fishery cooperatives in each coastal Panchayat/village as well as Panchayat/village having large water bodies. It will also strengthen the existing PACS/dairy/fishery cooperatives through convergence of various schemes of Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying.
