Central Electricity Authority (Technical Standards for Construction of Electrical Plants and Electric Lines) Regulations, 2022

These regulations shall apply to generating companies, transmission licensees, distribution licensees, Central Transmission Utilities, and State Transmission Utilities. The regulations provides general requirements of The Electrical Plants and Electric Lines, the Technical Standards for the Construction of Thermal Generating Stations and the technical Standards for the Construction of Hydro-Electric Generating Stations.

IBBI notifies the appointment of a panel of Insolvency Professionals

The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) has issued a public notice for the appointment of a panel of Insolvency Professionals (IPs). The notice was issued for the constitution of the panel for the period from 1st January, 2023 till 30th June, 2023. This panel is created for various zones across the country.

CDSCO notifies inspections/ audits of pharmacovigilance (PV) of importers and manufacturers of human vaccine.

The New Drugs and Clinical Trial Rules, 2019 state that the importer of manufacturer of any new drug for sale and distribution shall have a PV system. The system shall include a place for collecting, processing and forwarding the Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reports to the central licensing authority. This information will emerge from the use of the new imported/ manufactured/ marketed drug by the applicant in India.

Bihar Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2022

The Government of Bihar published the Bihar Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2022 to further amend the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act 2017. The Act was published on 4th January, 2023 and will come into force on date appointed by the State Government.. The Amendment Act provides that a registered person shall not be entitled to the credit of any input tax in respect of any supply of goods or services or both to him unless the details of input tax credit in respect of the supply communicated to a such registered person has not been restricted.

PM-YUVA Mentorship Scheme for Young Authors (YUVA) 2.0

Scholarship of Rs. 50,000 per month for a period of six months to be paid to each of the selected 75 authors. The higher educational institutions are requested to disseminate the information about the scheme to all the students and other stakeholders to encourage greater participation in this prestigious scheme
