The webinar was organised by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Dept of Pharmaceuticals (M/o Chemicals and Fertilizers). The objective of the webinar was to involve the stakeholders in taking forward the various initiatives of the Government in the health and medical research sectors.

The guidelines state that endorsements must be made in simple, clear language, and terms such as “advertisement,” “sponsored,” “collaboration” or “paid promotion” can be used. Individuals must not endorse any product or service that they have not personally used or experienced or in which due diligence has not been done by them.
Government of Tamil Nadu takes Measures to ensure safety of Migrant workers
Recently, a small unrest was created among the Interstate Migrant Workers as because of the circulation of fake videos of assault in social media. The Police Department has confirmed that it was the videos are fake ones. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has also assured that, “The Government of Tamil Nadu provides basic amenities to all the InterState Migrant workers who visit Tamil Nadu and ensures due privileges and protection under the Labour Protection Act to them.
Centre issues guidelines to Ensure Safety in Transportation of Dangerous Goods
The guidelines, known as ‘IS 18149:2023 – Transportation of Dangerous Goods — Guidelines’, have been formulated under the Transport Services Sectional Committee, SSD 01, of BIS, and are expected to set a new benchmark for the safe handling and transportation of hazardous materials across the country.

Draft Karnataka Educational Institutions (Issue of No Objection Certificate and Control) (Amendment) Rules, 2023
The Draft Rules empower the Deputy Director for Public Instruction (DDPI) to pass suitable orders granting renewal of No Objection Certificates. Additionally, the Draft Amendment Rules contemplate that the Institution which furnishes for false information or document shall not merely be de-recognised but also be debarred from seeking NOC for a period of 2 years.

The Govt. of Goa publishes the Goa Freedom Fighters Welfare (Amendment) Rules, 2022
These Rules enhance the rate of Financial Assistance to the Goa Freedom Fighters and seek to amend the Goa Freedom Fighters Welfare Rules, 2013. These Rules were notified on 2nd March, 2023 and will be retrospectively effective from 19th December, 2022.
