SEBI Clarification regarding Online processing of investor service requests and complaints by RTAs
Holders of physical security certificates are required to submit various documents to the RTAs with respect to various service requests/ complaints. It is proposed to digitize this process in two phases and provide a mechanism for the investor to lodge service requests and complaints online and thereafter track the status and obtain periodical updates
SEBI revises directions for mutual funds to participate in repo transactions on Corporate Debt Securities
The prior circular provides that the Mutual funds shall participate in repo transactions only in AAA rated corporate debt securities. The new directions allows Mutual Funds to participate in repos on following corporate debt securities: (a)Listed AA and above rated corporate debt securities (b) Commercial Papers (CPs) and Certificate of Deposits (CDs).
SEBI has mandated upstreaming of all client funds received by Stock Brokers (SBs)/Clearing Members (CMs) to Clearing Corporations (CCs)
The stock exchanges and CCs shall create an SOP for monitoring the implementation of provisions of this Circular and put in place a uniform penalty structure for non-compliance.
ESIC clarification to dormant companies
ESI has clarified that the Companies registered in ESIC through MCA portal have to declare the status of the company within six month of registration to avoid defaulter action. Before the end of the ‘Inactive” mode, the company can further extend the Inactive mode for six months and continue to extend in similar manner as per the status of the company.

DCI directs Dental Colleges to Conduct Anti-Ragging Orientation Program in Compliance with Guidelines
While conducting Anti-Ragging Orientation Programs, the dental colleges must either invite a DCI member from their own state or from a neighboring state if the member from their own state is unavailable for any reason. Furthermore, after conducting the program, the dental colleges must promptly provide the prescribed documents to the DCI office.
