The Indian Nursing Council now categorically states that Notification No-6 dated 5th June, 2023 is a fake and fabricated document with fake signatures and such notification has never been contemplated not issued by the Council.
Indian Nursing Council clarifies on Admissions for Academic Year 2023-2024
It is clarified that all students of B.Sc.(N) shall be admitted only if they qualify in the entrance exam conducted by State Government/ University/ State common entrance cell.
FSSAI invites Applications for Internship starting in the month of July-2023
The internship program will be available throughout the year on a quarterly basis, with internships offered for a duration of up to 3 months, extendable to a maximum of 6 months. Interested and eligible students can apply online in the specified format as per the timelines provided by FSSAI. The last date for submitting online applications is 19th June, 2023.

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued an order notifying 3 Authorised Officers under FSS (Imports) Regulation, 2017. These officers are appointed for the purpose of clearance of imported food at specified food entry points.
Department of Health Research mandates Registration of Ethics Committees for Medical and Health Research
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced that the Department of Health Research (DHR) has informed that all Ethics Committees associated with Medical and Health Research involving human participants must be registered with the department. The NMC has therefore directed that all medical colleges and postgraduate institutes to promptly initiate the registration process for their respective Ethics Committees.
UGMEB issues clarifications on Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023
The UGMEB states that previous procedures/ rules (as per Information Bulletin by NTA) will be followed for deciding the “inter-se-merit of candidates for tie-breaking”. This will be utilised for NEET-UG 2023 result. Additionally, the notice also amends the Eligibility criteria for taking NEET-UG.
UGC has extended the last date for inviting nominations for NEP SAARTHI
UGC will seek nominations from the Vice Chancellors, Directors, and Principals of HEIs and eminent academicians. Each university may nominate up to 3 students to be considered as NEP SAARTHI, along with a brief write-up justifying the nominations. Based on the nominations, UGC will select 300 NEP SAARTHI among the nominees. UGC will announce the NEP SAARTHIs and communicate to the students. NEP SAARTHI will be oriented and guided to carry out their roles effectively by the UGC in a hybrid mode.
EPFO clarification regarding Adherence to timelines for Scrutiny of Applications for Validation of Joint Option /Joint Option
Therefore, the expeditious disposal of the Applications for Validation of Joint Options/Joint Options from pensioners/ members being submitted by employers and forwarded to Field Offices in the same time as it exists for other claims becomes of utmost importance. Hence, it is reiterated that each Applications for Validation of Joint Option/Joint Option shall be scrutinized expeditiously and it shall be ensured that Demand Letter to Employer / Communication to Employer is issued for providing any additional proof or evidence or correct any mistakes/ errors (including made by employers/ pensioners) in respect of each Application for Validation of Joint Option/Joint Option within 20 days of receipt of the application in the login of the Dealing Assistant.
UGC directions to colleges and universities for Implementation of Reservation Policy of the Government of India
It is mandatory to furnish report along with statistical information in respect of teaching and non-teaching as well as admission to all level courses and hostel accommodation during the 2022-2023 as per the prescribed format on the universities Activity Monitoring Portal (UAMP) of UGC at the link https://ugc.ac.in/uamp/.
UGC has Invited applications from eligible colleges for conferment/extension of Autonomous status
A college fulfilling the eligibility as per the Regulations and intending to become/get extension as autonomous college may apply on the portal. A college applying for conferment/extension of autonomous status are required to pay Rs.50,000/ – electronically through the portal.
