Multi-Source Edible Oils Grading and Marking Rules, 2023

The government has mandated the use of a Grade Designation Mark, referred to as the “AGMARK Insignia,” for all packaged Multi-Source Edible Oils. The Agricultural Marketing Adviser or authorized officers are responsible for approving the manner in which the Grade Designation Mark is affixed to or printed on each package.

CBDT extends time limits for submission of certain TDS/TCS Statements

The statement of deduction of tax for the first quarter of the financial year 2023-24, required to be furnished in Form No. 26Q or Form No. 27Q, on or before 31% July, 2023 under Rule 31A of the Income-tax Rules, 1962 (“the Rules”), may be furnished on or before 30 September, 2023.

Fee Refund Policy 2023-24

A full refund of fees shall be made by the HEIS on account of all cancellations of admission/migrations of students up to 30 September 2023 and with a deduction of not more than Rs. 1,000, as a processing fee, up to 31 October 2023.

Delhi Excise (Amendment) Rules, 2023

One of the notable changes in the Delhi Excise (Amendment) Rules, 2023, pertains to the total quantity of special denatured spirit that industrial manufacturers can store at their premises. Previously, the limit was set at 1896 kilo litres. However, this amendment now allows them to store up to 6744 kilo litres of special denatured spirit at one time.
