ESIC clarification to dormant companies

ESI has clarified that the Companies registered in ESIC through MCA portal have to declare the status of the company within six month of registration to avoid defaulter action. Before the end of the ‘Inactive” mode, the company can further extend the Inactive mode for six months and continue to extend in similar manner as per the status of the company.

UGC measures for Implementing the National Education Policy for Environmental Education

the University Grants Commission (UGC) has produced a document aimed at sensitizing students from diverse backgrounds about sustainable development goals and global environmental challenges. Ministry of AYUSH issues a Call for Papers on Special Issue of JDRAS on “Millets- The Nutri-cereals”

To commemorate the International Year of Millets and identify potential research gaps and future avenues, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) will be publishing a special issue of JDRAS on “Millets: The Nutri-cereals.” The special issue is scheduled for release on Ayurveda Day 2023. The Journal invites research papers, reviews, short communications, perspectives, book reviews, and systematic reviews.

Income-tax (Eighth Amendment) Rules

Any movable property, being equity shares, of a public sector company or a company, received by a person from a public sector company or the Central Government or any State Government under strategic disinvestment is exempted from being reported under the title income from other sources while filing Annual Income Tax return.
