SEBI extends timeline to send financial statements to security holders
It has been decided to relax, up to September 30, 2024, the requirements of sending financial statements to holders of non convertible securities who have not so registered.
Onboarding of more banks on UDGAM portal
Reserve Bank of India launched a Centralized Web Portal UDGAM (Unclaimed Deposits – Gateway to Access inforMation) on August 17, 2023 for the public to facilitate and make it easier for them to search their unclaimed deposits across multiple banks at one place. The search facility was initially made available on the portal for seven banks and it was intimated to public that the search facility for remaining banks on the portal would be made available in a phased manner by October 15, 2023.
TRAI extended time to submit comments/counter comments on Draft Registration of Consumer Organizations (Amendment) Regulations, 2023
Now, on requests received from the stakeholders for extension of time for submission of comments on the above-mentioned draft amendment, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of comments up to 20 October 2023. Further, counter comments, if any, may be submitted on or before 27 October 2023.
BSE SOP for seeking SEBI’s No Objection Certificate (NOC) for draft scheme of arrangement

This SOP outlines the steps that listed entities must follow when seeking SEBI’s No Objection Certificate (NOC) for their draft scheme of arrangement.
UGC invites applications from HEIs to offer distance and online programmes
The HEI is required to submit application at https://deb.ugc.ac.in/. The duly certified hard copy of the application along with original affidavit and annexure should reach Deputy Secretary, Distance Education Bureau, UGC, 35, Feroze Shah Road, New Delhi -110001 by 15th November, 2023.

PCI extends deadline for completion of Approval and Appeal Process for Existing Institutions
The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has extended the deadline for the completion of approval and appeal process for existing institutions. This notice was issued on 4th October, 2023. Therefore, the last date for completion of the approval process for existing institutions has now been fixed as 31st October, 2023. Furthermore, the last date for completion of the appeal process has now been fixed as 30th November, 2023.
