These Regulations shall be called the Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Renewable Energy Tariff) Regulations, 2024. “Auxiliary Energy Consumption”, means the quantum of energy consumed by auxiliary equipment of the Generating Station and transformer losses within the Generating Station, expressed as a percentage of the sum of gross energy generated at the generator terminals of all the Units of the Generating Station: Provided that it shall not include energy consumed for supply of power by the generating Station to its housing colony and other facilities, and for construction works at the generating Station.
These Regulations shall apply in all cases where tariff for power generating station or a unit thereof commissioned during the Control Period and based on renewable sources of energy, is to be determined by the Commission of the Act. Provided that in cases of Wind, Small Hydro, Municipal Solid Waste, Solar PV, Renewable hybrid energy project and Biogas Power projects, these Regulations shall apply subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria specified in para 4 of these Regulations.
