The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a public notice on the Amnesty Scheme for one-time settlement of default in Export Obligation (EO). This notice was published on 1st April, 2023.
The notice clarifies the following amendments in procedure to close cases of default export obligations under:
- advance authorisation scheme and
- Export Promotion Credit Guarantee (EPCG) authorisation scheme
The Amnesty scheme shall be available for a limited period, up to 30th September, 2023.
Hence the notice permits one-time facility for grant of EODC/ regularisation of cases of EO default of advance authorisation and EPCG authorisation under ‘Amnesty Scheme for one-time settlement of default in Export Obligation (EO) by advance authorisation and EPCG authorisation holders’
