On October 9, 2024, the Finance Department of the Government of Rajasthan made a significant amendment to the Social Security Investment Promotion Scheme (SSIPS). This update, outlined in Order No. 12 (12) Finance/Tax/2023-15, originally issued on May 2, 2023, aims to streamline the registration process for participants.
What’s Changed?
The key alteration is found in point 4.4(ii) of the scheme. The previous requirement mandated registration on both the NITI Aayog’s Darpan Portal and the Voluntary Sector Development Centre (VSDC) portal of the Planning Department.
The recent amendment simplifies this by requiring registration solely on the NITI Aayog’s Darpan Portal.
