The Telengana Government has revised entry No 4 to Annexure VI of Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self Certification System (TS-iPASS) Act, 2014, in which the time line for operations to issue Electrical Design Approval by Chief Electrical inspector is amended to 6 days in line with the G.O.MS.No.01 passed by the Energy Department in place of 14 days which was provided earlier.
In the aforementioned G.O issued by the energy Department on 14 February 2019, it had notified revised the timelines for issue of the Electrical installation certificate by the Chief Electrical inspector to Government for installations exceeding 650V as 6 days, which comprises the following:
i. Pre-scrutiny of Applications received in full shape towards Electrical Installation Certificate shall be completed within 1 working day from date of submission of Application.
ii. Inspection of Installation shall be conducted by the concerned officer within 3 working days after receipt of fee payment towards Electrical Installation Certificate.
iii. Form of Order shall be issued within 1 working day after the date of inspection.
iv. Electrical Installation Certificate shall be issued within working day after the receipt of satisfactory compliance report.
