In the earlier Rules the applicability of Rule 22 was for allottees or their spouses or their dependent minor children suffering from chronic diseases which has been expanded to the allottees dependent sons/daughters suffering from chronic diseases as well. The Rules do not confine only to minor children but dependent children as well.
