The Director General of Foreign trade vide notification dated 17th April, 2020 has amended Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 to revise the export policy of API’s and formulations made from Paracetamol.
Henceforth, as per the notification any Paracetamol based formulation including FDC’s under ITC HS Code are free for export. However, the paracetamol API will remain restricted for export.
The order shall come into effect on day of publication.
