All India Council for Technical Education on 20th May 2022, has notified guidelines/standard operating procedure to be followed by all AICTE approved institutions for COVID-19. Though the spread of Covid-19 virus has been contained to a great extent but it is still prevalent and it is therefore necessary that proper preventive measures and covid-19 appropriate behaviour be continued in full earnest.
The SOP on COVID-19 includes thermal screening of students and staff, sanitization, use of face mask, physical distancing etc.
Further Online teaching-learning arrangements should be made for international students who are unable to join the programme due to travel restrictions or visa-related issues. Crowding must be avoided at entry, exit and all other points including cafeteria, canteen
Biomedical disposal of face masks, cover and other related waste should be ensured and the Students or staff whose family members are infected should not join the institution physically.
