ESIC has directed all ESIC Hospitals/DMD/DMN are advised to devise Standard Operating Procedure accordingly which should be in place during the upcoming heat wave season. All the Hospitals / Dispensaries to plan IEC activities from time to time to make public aware about the precautions to be taken to safeguard from extreme heat conditions.
Resiliency of all health facilities to face extreme heat wave is to be ensured. Hospitals are further advised to ensure sensitization and capacity building of the health care staff so that the health facility is well prepared for providing preventive and therapeautic care.
