Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for Assistance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises

The Government of Gujarat vide circular dated 05 October, 2022 has published the Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for Assistance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The revised threshold for identifying MSMEs are as follows:

1. Micro: Capital investment upto 1 crore
2. Small: Capital investment between 1 crore and 10 crores
3. Medium: Capital investment between 10 crore and 50 crores

Under the scheme, micro industries will attract capital subsidy up to Rs 35 lakh, MSMEs will gain interest subsidy up to Rs 35 lakh per annum up to 7 years and incremental incentives will be extended to women entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs, startups, and differently abled entrepreneurs.
