FSSAI in its earlier notice dated 15th May 2020 has made it mandatory that the consignment of dairy products imported into India shall be accompanied with a veterinary certificate issued by the competent authority of exporting country, however, this requirement is not being insisted by customs for those consignments of edible lactose which are facilitated through green channel by RMS which created a differential treatment of facilitated and non-facilitated consignments.
