The Government of Maharashtra has introduced online payment gateway under Ease of Doing Business Scheme for payment of labor welfare fund which shall be effective from 1st January 2020.
The online payment gateway can be accessed through website provided here as https://public.mlwb.in/public. Therefore from date of this notification taking effect, all establishments in the state are required to register in the link given above by providing their details and those of their employees. Considering requests from various establishments, the time limit for making online employer-employee contributions has been extended till 15th February 2020.
