PCI Extends Deadline for Statutory Document Submission for Pharmacy Institutions

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced an extension to the deadline for pharmacy institutions to submit statutory documents related to new institutions, the introduction of new courses, and increases in admissions for the 2025-2026 academic session. This notice was issued on March 7, 2025.

The PCI has received numerous requests from institutions across various states seeking additional time to compile and submit the required documentation.

In response to these requests, the PCI has extended the deadline for submitting appeals and compliance documents to March 15, 2025.

This extension applies to:

  1. New pharmacy institutions.
  2. Existing institutions applying to introduce new courses.
  3. Existing institutions seeking to increase their student intake.

Submission Process

Institutions must submit their appeals and compliance documents through the PCI portal under the “appeal” head only.

The PCI has emphasized the following crucial points regarding document submission:

  1. All supporting documents and documentary evidence must be in English or Hindi.
  2. If documents are in any other language, a translated copy duly attested by the principal must be provided.
  3. All submitted documents must be clearly legible.

The extension aims to provide institutions with sufficient time to prepare and submit accurate and complete documentation, ensuring a smoother application process for the 2025-2026 academic session.

The PCI urges institutions to take advantage of this extended deadline and ensure that all required documents are submitted on or before March 15, 2025, to avoid any delays or complications.
