SIF Editing Window Opens for Pharmacy Institutions

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced a seven-day window for medical institutions to make modifications to their submitted Standard Inspection Format (SIF). This notice was issued on February 3, 2025.

The decision to allow modification in SIF for 7 days after closing of portal was made during the 422nd Executive Committee (EC) meeting. This meeting was held on January 23, 2025 and considered the issue of SIF modifications.

Editing Period

Institutions that submitted their SIF and completed payment by January 31, 2025, can now edit their forms from February 4, 2025, to February 10, 2025.

Exclusion

It is important to note that editing rights do not extend to Institutional Information data.

Centralized Council Number (BH-P Number) Update

The PCI has also requested all institutions to verify the Centralized Council Number (BH-P Number) of the head of the institution in their SIF. If the BH-P number is missing or outdated, institutions are required to update it in the SIF, specifically within the faculty joining section. This update is crucial for correctly identifying the head of the institution.

To assist institutions with this process, a video tutorial has been made available in the institution information section of the portal. Institutions are encouraged to refer to this tutorial if they require guidance on updating the BH-P number.

Institutions that missed the January 31st payment deadline are not eligible for this modification window.
