Rajasthan Government Declares Statutory Leave for Employees on Delhi Election Day

The Government of Rajasthan on January 11th 2025 has announced a paid holiday for all employees in the state on February 5, 2025, due to the General Election to the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.

Casual and Daily Wage Workers: These workers are also entitled to a paid holiday and wages for the day.

Compliance: Employers are required to grant this holiday to eligible employees, and failure to comply may result in a fine of up to ₹500.

    This announcement ensures that employees, including those working outside their home constituencies, will be able to vote in the Delhi elections.
