The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a public notice clarifying its previous notice on Minimum Standard Requirement for Post Graduate Courses, 2024. This clarification was issued on January 13, 2025.
It may be recalled that a public notice dated August 23, 2024 was issued regarding the “Minimum Standard Requirement for Post Graduate Courses.” This notice inadvertently referred to the document as “PGMSR-2024.”
To avoid any confusion, it is hereby clarified that “Minimum Standard of Postgraduate Courses-2024” (PGMSR-2024) should be read as Revised PGMSR-2023 (modified as on 23.08.2024). This revision is in accordance with the provisions of the Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023 (PGMER-2023).
This clarification is issued to ensure clarity and prevent any misinterpretation.
