University Grants Commission has announced that a new technology platform of the Department of youth Affairs Mera Yuva Bharat Portal (https://mybharat.gov. in) is designed to put in place an institutional mechanism for experiential leaning. The experiential learning feature in My Bharat portal offers the facility to connect youth to volunteering opportunities.
HEIs are directed to register their institution on My Bharat. This could help enhance institution’s reach pan-india and build a network with current and former students. The portal also provides a dedicated profile page to every youth who registers on it which allows the youth to build a digital trail of all his/her works. including experimental learning done on MY Bharat which may be converted into educational credit points.
