UGC has announced that the 8th Siddha Day will be organized on 19th December 2024. All the institutions of Siddha system of medicine are entrusted with the task to popularize the Siddha system of medicine through innovative programs and execute them effectively.
All Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) offering Siddha Medical Courses are requested to observe and promote Siddha Day through a variety of events. It is also requested that they may invite key stakeholders, including the Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), the National Institute of Siddha (NIS), and the Directorate of Indian Medicine & Homeopathy (DIM & H), to join in celebrating the main Siddha Day event in a grand and impactful manner.
