The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has invited stakeholders to participate in a public hearing on the proposed amendments to regulations governing the sharing of interstate transmission charges and losses. This invitation was issued on November 25, 2024.
The draft amendments, titled “Draft Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Sharing of inter-State Transmission Charges and Losses) (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2024,” were issued on October 9, 2024. Stakeholders have until November 25, 2024, to submit their comments, objections, and suggestions on the draft.

How to Register?
Interested parties are requested to confirm their participation by December 9, 2024.
Names of proposed participants from organizations should be communicated to the CERC by December 9, 2024.
If an organization wishes to make a presentation during the hearing (limited to 5-10 minutes and 8-10 slides), they must submit the presentation in advance by December 9, 2024 to ecourtastt101@cercind.gov.in and shilpa@cercind.gov.in.
