UGC directions for celebration of Constitution Day on 26th November, 2024

UGC has issued directions for celebration of Constitution Day on 26th November, 2024. In this year’s celebration Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are encouraged to undertake a range of activities that are designed to promote awareness and appreciation of these foundational ideals which may include the following:

1. Organize a reading of the Preamble to imbibe the values.
2. Organize talks/seminar/webinar emphasizing the importance of Constitution Day
3. Conduct a Quiz completion on the Constitution
4. Conduct an essay writing competition
5. Organize a Painting/Poster making competition.
6. Depute ten speakers to local Colleges to sensitize the Colleges about the celebration of the Constitution Day.

In addition, HEIS are requested to create an event on My Bharat Portal https://mybharat.gov.in/) and upload the details of the celebrations.
