The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced a final opportunity for foreign medical graduates (FMGs) to apply for the Eligibility Certificate required to practice medicine in India. This decision comes after receiving requests from candidates facing technical difficulties during the previous application window. The Eligibility Certificate is mandatory for FMGs to take the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), a prerequisite for practicing medicine in India.
It may be recalled that candidates were given the last opportunity to apply for the Eligibility Certificate till November 4, 2024. However, the Registration EMRB has received representations from some candidates that due to technical issues, they were not able to submit their applications within this time frame.

This additional application window aims to ensure that all eligible candidates have a fair chance to obtain the necessary certification.
