DGFT allows exports under schemes of gold/silver/platinum jewelry through Amritsar airport

DGFT vide notification dated 13th November, 2024 has amended Handbook of Procedures, 2023. The amendment provides that exports under schemes of gold/silver/platinum jewellery and articles thereof shall be allowed by airfreight and Foreign Post Office through the Customs House at following airports:

1. Mumbai
2. Kolkata
3. Chennai
4. Delhi
5. Jaipur
6. Bengaluru
7. Kochi
8. Coimbatore
9. Ahmedabad
10. Dabolin Airport
11. Goa
12. Hyderabad
13. Surat (Surat Hira Bourse) and
14. Amritsar Airport.

Export by courier shall also be allowed through Custom Houses at Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Kochi, Coimbatore, Delhi, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad upto FOB value of Rs.20 lakh per consignment.
