- Install ELCBs: Placing an Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) near the service main in homes can significantly reduce the risk of electrical leakage, preventing potential accidents.
- Avoid Moisture: Switches should not be operated with wet hands, and they should never be installed in damp areas like bathrooms or toilets to minimize the risk of shock.
- Proper Use of Plug Points: Electric wires should not be plugged into outlets for purposes other than their intended use. This helps avoid overloading and potential hazards.
