The Government of Manipur on October 1st 2024 appointed certain dates for the enforcement of the provisions of the sections of the Manipur Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act 2024.
The following Dates have been appointed:
The 1st day of October 2024 as the date on which the provisions of Section 4 of the said Act shall come into force.
Section 4 highlights the Penalty for failure to register certain machines used in manufacture of goods as per special procedure
The 1st day of April 2025 as the date on which the provisions of section 2 and 3 of the said Act shall come into force
Section 2 highlights Input Service Distributor and Section 3 highlights manner of distribution of credit by Input Service Distributor.
