The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) has announced an extension for stakeholders to submit comments and suggestions on the proposed Approved List of Models & Manufacturers (ALMM) for Solar PV Cells.
The ALMM is a government initiative that specifies approved models and manufacturers of solar equipment. It may be recalled that in an earlier notification dated September 7, 2024, the MNRE had sought feedback from stakeholders on the draft amendment to the ALMM order, specifically for including solar PV cells in the list. The initial deadline for submission of comments was fixed as October 6, 2024.
Extension of Deadline
Recognizing the need for additional time to provide thoughtful feedback, the MNRE has extended the deadline by 15 days. Stakeholders now have until October 21, 2024, to submit their views, comments, and suggestions on the proposed ALMM amendment.
