The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has announced an extension for admissions to all nursing programs for the academic year 2024-25. This notification was issued on September 20, 2024.
The INC had previously issued notifications with an initial deadline of September 30, 2024 for admitting students to various nursing programs. This deadlines was announced through notification number 3 dated January 29, 2024 and notification number 4 of 2024 dated February 1, 2024.
New Deadline
In light of recent developments, the INC has extended the last date for admissions to October 31, 2024. This applies to all nursing programs, including:
- ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife)
- GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)
- B.Sc. (Nursing)
- PBB.Sc. (Nursing) (Post Basic Bachelor of Science)
- M.Sc. (Nursing)
- Post Basic Diploma Programs
- Nurse Practitioner Courses (NPCC)
The INC emphasizes that this is a final extension. No further deadline extensions will be granted.
This extension provides additional time for aspiring nurses to complete their applications and secure admission to their preferred programs. Institutions offering nursing programs will also have more time to fill their available seats.
