The National Medical Commission (NMC) is urging all aspiring Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) to apply online for their Eligibility Certificate. This certificate is mandatory for appearing in the upcoming Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) Screening Test. This notice by the Ethics and Medical Registration Board of the NMC on September 10, 2024.
The upcoming FMGE test is tentatively scheduled for December 2024 by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.
The NMC has provided this final opportunity to apply for the Eligibility Certificate. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline. The timelines for this are as follows:

Key Aspects of the Notification
Candidates are required to apply for the eligibility certificate online through the National Medical Commission’s website. The notice emphasizes that this is the last opportunity to apply for the Eligibility
Certificates and thereafter no further chance would be available to the candidates to apply for the Eligibility Certificates.
The notice also cautions candidates that incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
Inquiries about the status of eligibility certificate application can be made via email at: eligibility.regn@nmc.org.in or eligibility@nmc.org.in. Candidates must include their File Tracking Number (generated upon application submission) in their email.
Candidates that have already applied for the Eligibility Certificate in the past need to apply again.
A separate advisory regarding the Eligibility Certificate process will be issued shortly by the Registration Section of Ethics and Medical Registration Board (EMRB) and will be available on the NMC website.
