University Grants Commission on 09th August, 2024 has announced Har Ghar Tiranga Programme under Azadi Ka Amrlt Mahotsav (AKAM). This year, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will be celebrated across the Nation from 13th -15th August 2024 to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark India’s independence.
The Higher Education Institutions are requested to disseminate the information on the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with their faculty members, students, and stakeholders and to encourage them to celebrate India’s Independence Day with the same zeal and patriotism from 13th- 15th August 2024 and to put selfies with Tiranga on the website www.harshartiranga.com.
HEls are also requested to upload their participatory videos of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme on their social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, lnstagram, etc., and also share the details of organizing the above events on the UGC University Activity Monitoring Portal (UAMP) https://uamp.ugc.ac.in.
