The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has introduced a new bulk Aadhaar seeding feature via the employer portal, effective August 2, 2024. This enhancement allows employers to upload Aadhaar details for insured persons and their families in bulk by using the new Bulk Aadhaar Seeding Template, accessible from the portal. This notification was published on 06/08/2024.
Employers must ensure the accuracy of Aadhaar details before submission, as mismatches will prevent successful seeding. For any changes to personal details on the ESIC portal, beneficiaries should either use the IP/employer portal or contact their ESIC branch office. Corrections to Aadhaar data should follow UIDAI guidelines.
This bulk seeding option complements existing OTP, biometric, and face authentication methods. Field offices are advised to review Aadhaar seeding reports, prioritize employers with numerous unseeded beneficiaries, and promote this new feature widely to ensure the timely completion of Aadhaar seeding.
