Substitution of Table under Rule 5:
The primary amendment in the draft rules involves the substitution of the table under Rule 5
As per the Kerala Motor Transport Workers Rule 1962, Rule 5 mentions, A certificate of registration for an undertaking shall be granted by the Chief Inspector or an Inspector duly authorised by him in this behalf. A new table has been substituted having details of Maximum number of motor transport workers to be employed during the year and the respective fees.
Public Consultation:
Comments/suggestions shall be sent within 42 days from July 26, 2024, to Secretary to Government, Labour and Skills (E) Department, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram.
