The National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO) has announced the registration for hand transplant recipients on its web portal.
The existing “Subject Demography Management” system on NOTTO doesn’t offer a dedicated option for hand transplant recipients. Hence, NOTTO has authorized hand transplant centers and hospitals to register hand transplant recipients under the “BONE” category within the tissue section.
This allows for recipient registration and data collection until a dedicated hand transplant option is implemented.
