The Punjab Government on 24th June 2024 declared paid holiday to the voters of Jalandhar West (SC) constituency, who are employees working across any shops and commercial establishments situated in the State of Punjab to enable them to cast their votes on account of Bye-elections 2024 to Vidhan Sabha.
As per the circular, 10-07-2024 falling on Wednesday will be declared as Closed day for voters of 34 – Jalandhar West (SC) Assembly Constituency, Punjab. However 10th July, 2024 shall not be a closed day in lieu of weekly off falling on any day between 07-07-2024 and 13-07-2024.
