The Government of Haryana on 28th June 2024, announced holiday with wages on account of Bye-elections on 10th July 2024 (Wednesday) only for those employees employed under any shops and commercial establishments falling with the jurisdiction of the State of Haryana and who have been enrolled as voters in Legislative Assembly Constituencies of 04-Badrinath & 33- Manglaur of Uttarakhand and 34- Jalandhar West (SC) of Punjab to enable them to cast their votes in respective constituencies.
This initiative underscores the state’s commitment to democratic values and ensuring maximum participation in the electoral process.
