EPFO has announced enhancement of dearness allowance

EPFO has announced enhancement of dearness allowance w.e.f. 01.01.2024. Consequent upon increase of Dearness Allowance by 4% to 50% w.e.f. 01.01.2024, the payments of the following allowances where ever applicable may be made at enhanced rates of 25% over the existing rates w.e.f. 01.01.2024:

1. Tough Location Allowance
2. Conveyance Allowance
3. Special Allowance for child of women with disabilities
4. Children Education Allowance
5. House Rent Allowance
6. Hotel Accommodation
7. Reimbursement of Traveling charges for travel within the city (touring station)
8. Reimbursement of Food Charges/ Lump sum amount or Dail Allowance
9. Split Duty Allowance Doe 0M No. 27/1/2017-E.II(B) dated
10. Deputation(Duty)allowance.
