The Dental Council of India (DCI) has issued a reminder regarding the deadline for uploading student data admitted to MDS programs for the 2024-25 academic year. This notice dated June 28, 2024 was published on July 4, 2024.
As per the NEET MDS counselling schedule, the last date for students to join their allotted colleges is September 14, 2024. The academic session for PG dental courses begins on August 1, 2024.
DCI has stated that all dental colleges must upload the details of admitted students on the DCI website using their existing login credentials. The deadline for uploading student data is September 14, 2024 (midnight). Uploading data after this deadline will be considered a violation.
Guidelines for Uploading Student Data
Colleges are encouraged to upload student data progressively after each counselling round, instead of waiting until the last minute. Uploading should be completed by September 14, 2024 to avoid technical issues. Only details of genuinely admitted students should be uploaded. Uploading inaccurate information may lead to penalties against the college.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Uploading details after the deadline or providing inaccurate information may lead to action by the DCI. Only uploaded student data will be forwarded to State Dental Councils for qualification registration.
