The labour department of Haryana vide notification dated 30th August 2019 has amendment the Punjab Factories Rules 1952 which shall be applicable to the state of Haryana. Through this amendment the Government of Haryana has changed the format of the Factories Annual return to make it harmonious with common return format at Shram Suvidha Portal.
As per the proposed amendment, the manager of every factory shall furnish a unified single annual return to the chief inspector, on or before 15th January every year in revised Form 21, Unified Single Annual return. However in case of periodical factories the manager shall submit the return within 15 days of the close of the factory.
The Form in which the annual return to be submitted has been completely revised.
Comments and suggestions have been invited on the Punjab Factory (Amendment) Rules, 2019 (“Draft Amendment Rules”), which may be addressed to Labour Commissioner-cum-Chief Inspector of Factories, Haryana, 30 Bays Building, Sector 17, Chandigarh, within 14th October, 2019.
