Specific instructions concerning the Labor Department are outlined as follows: The Labour Department is tasked with providing locations for displaying awareness messages within the office premises of all 11 districts and on notice. Stringent enforcement of labor laws is mandated, and May 25, 2024, is designated as a mandatory paid holiday. Field units must ensure that employees of commercial and industrial establishments are permitted to vote. Additionally, a letter dated April 12, 2024, from the CEO of Delhi regarding voter awareness messages to be included in all departmental notices is to be implemented. Therefore, in accordance with the CEO’s directives, all Labor Department districts must ensure compliance. Advertising materials produced for this purpose should be prominently exhibited in districts, visible to visitors. District heads are instructed to convene meetings with industrial, commercial, and trade associations and trade unions to encourage their members to vote on May 25, 2024, and to grant them a paid holiday on polling day.
