The Government of Goa, specifically the Department of Finance and the Office of the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, issued a notification on 16th April, 2024, that brings about a significant amendment to the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017
The amendment pertains to the time limit for furnishing the details of outward supplies in FORM GSTR-1 of the said rules. Specifically, for registered persons required to furnish return, other than the registered persons who are required to furnish return for the tax period March, 2024, the time limit shall be extended till the 12th April, 2024.
This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 11th day of April, 2024.
