BIS Withdraws Series of Standards From March 26th, 2024

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has withdrawn several standards effective from March 26, 2024. This notification was dated April 9, 2024.

The withdrawn standards are on the following:

  • Specification for Tracheostomy Tubes, Fuller’s Pattern
  • Specification for Three-Phase Induction Motors with Type of Protection ‘n’
  • Specification for Series Capacitors for Power Systems
  • Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices
  • Guide for Evaluation of Medical Devices for Biological Hazards
