Empowering Students and Educators Through Skill Development in Goa

Two Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) were ceremoniously signed by the Project Management Unit- Coding & Robotics Education in Schools (PMU-CARES) located at the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), with the distinguished presence of the Chief Minister of Goa and the Minister for WRD. This Notification was published on 29.02.2024.

The first accord, sealed between Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani and PMU-CARES, DTE, revolves around a Collaborative Research Agreement. The second MoU, forged between MSME – Technology Development Center (PPDC) in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and Project Management Unit, DTE, Government of Goa, sets its sights on Commercializing the PMU’s in-house developed Tools and Technology for Skill Education through a tri-partite agreement involving other States and Organizations. Expressing contentment with these agreements, the Chief Minister of Goa underscored their potential to empower students and educators in enhancing skills, while also highlighting the pivotal role the Technology Development Center will play in contributing to the country’s human resource development for years to come.
