Himachal Pradesh Factories (Amendment) Rules, 2024

The Government of Himachal Pradesh Department of Labour & Employment issued a notification dated 15th February, 2024, proposing amendments to the Himachal Pradesh Factories Rules, 1950. The proposed amendments include changes to the fee for granting a factory license based on the number of persons to be employed. It further outlines the recognition of competent persons and institutions for carrying out tests, examinations, inspections, and certification for various equipment and processes stipulated under the Act and rules made thereunder. The notification also provides detailed schedules specifying the qualifications, experiences, and facilities required for different categories of competent persons and institutions.
