Tamil Nadu Government announces that the 7.91% TAMIL NADU UDAY BOND 2024 will be repaid on March 22, 2024, along with accrued interest until March 21, 2024. If March 22, 2024, is declared a holiday by any State Government, repayment will be made on the preceding working day. No further interest will be accrued after March 22, 2024. According to Government Securities Regulations, 2007, the maturity proceeds will be paid to registered holders either through a pay order with bank details or via direct credit to their bank account. If bank details are not provided, holders must submit their securities 20 days before the due date, duly endorsed. In places where treasury work is handled by a State Bank of India branch, Stock Certificates should be submitted there. Holders wanting payment elsewhere should send the securities by Registered and Insured Post to the relevant Public Debt Office, which will issue a draft payable at any Treasury/Sub-Treasury or State Bank of India branch in Tamil Nadu.
